Enforcement Deadline: Summer 2026 (July/August)
VIPRE will soon require mandatory Outbound Token authentication for all cloud-based email providers (such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace).
Please ensure you have implemented the configuration steps below before the Summer 2026 enforcement window to avoid any interruption to your outbound mail flow. A specific date for hard enforcement will be provided in a future update.

What’s Happening
To maintain the highest security standards for our global customer base, we are moving toward a unified authentication model. Please Note: Summer 2026 (July/August), the use of this token will be strictly enforced.
The Impact of Inaction
On the enforcement date, any email flow originating from your environment that does not utilise the security token will be automatically rejected and denied delivery by the gateway.
