What is the best way to create a new email notification template?

Answer

While it is possible to create a new notification from a blank template, the following process saves a few steps and does not require that you set the triggering event.  If a company would like to create a new Notification template, we recommend using the basic outline of an existing template and duplicating it.  To create a new Notification template using the Duplicate function, follow the steps below:

  1. Under Tools, click Security Awareness, followed by Launch Platform
  2. Navigate Notifications
  3. Select the Notification to be duplicated by clicking in the checkbox next to the template name 

Note: If a Notification is not selected, you will receive a pop-up message: Cannot Copy: Must select a notification to copy

  1. Select Duplicate on the bottom right hand side
  2. Follow the steps on Editing a Notification Template
  3. Click Save

The new notification will now show under the appropriate category in the Email Notification table.
