How secure is Secure Message Center?

Secure Message Center encrypts stored messages with AES-256 encryption. During composition and pickup of the message, ZixMessage Center utilizes standard TLS secure Internet connections. The TLS software used is FIPS 140-2 certified and is configured to use strong (128-bit) encryption and 2048-bit public keys for symmetric key exchange.
