When would I use the Training New Assignment Notification?
Answer
Prior to creating a training assignment, you will first need to set up the email notification that will be sent to end users. This email notification alerts the end user that s/he has been assigned training. This assignment notification email includes a unique link that grants the user easy access to the assigned training module if you are using Ticket Based Authentication only.
- Sent on the Start Date of an assignment.
- Must be enabled prior to the creation of the assignment in order for it to be sent to the users.
- Must be approved to be selected during the assignment creation workflow.
- Sent to each user who is a part of the assignment and may only be sent once.
- Sent when adding a new user to an active assignment.
- Event URL expires 30 days after assignment end date. If using SSO, the link never expires.

Note: If you enable this notification after a Scheduled or Duration assignment has been created, no new notification will be sent unless you go into the specific assignment and enable the new assignment notification there as well.
